    From Metabo HPT:

BRASELTON, GA. – Metabo HPT today announced the launch of the new 18V Compact Cordless Brushless Trim Router (model M1808DAQ4) that offers complete freedom to tackle woodworking jobs on the GO! This router is part of the expanding MultiVolt System of power tools from Metabo HPT that connects the 18V and 36V line of tools with Metabo HPT’s flexible MultiVolt battery that powers it all. GO with the compact trim router that won’t let you down, delivering extraordinary power under load and single-handed control ergonomics. It’s backed by Metabo HPT’s Lifetime Lithium-Ion tool body warranty and two-year Lithium-Ion battery warranty for peace of mind.

18V Cordless MultiVolt™ Trim RouterGreen means GO. This trim router is convenient to grab and go.It has the power of a corded router while providing the convenience of a cordless tool. No cord means having the complete freedom to take routing work anywhere. You will no longer need to be tethered to a power cord or require power on the jobsite or worksite. At only 2.5 lbs (without battery), this lightweight powerhouse is a full 26% lighter than the competition*. The variable speed lets you dial up whatever the job calls for, offering speeds between 10,000 to 30,000 revolutions per minute. It features an ergonomic rubber grip, a one-handed power/trigger system, and a handy ambidextrous base mounting option. The M1808DAQ4 is equipped with a bright LED light that completely illuminates the workspace to maintain accuracy and the clear guide provide excellent sightlines to the workpiece. Keep dust to a minimum by easily connecting a vacuum to the newly designed dust collection port. Easily change depth, including micro-adjustments with minimal effort with the depth adjustment feature for ultimate accuracy. The two-stage power/trigger system provides safety and control. A quick brake feature stops the bit for increased safety and saves time between cuts. The soft start feature provides more control during ramp up. It accepts ¼” or 3/8” collets for a wider variety of cuts. The M1808DAQ4 Cordless Trim Router is sold as a bare tool (batteries & charger sold separately) and does come with 1/4” and 3/8” collet cones, trimmer guide & straight guide, template guide, dust collection set and bit wrench.

Versatility is a key advantage to the modern woodworker. GO lighter with 18V batteries on this trim router or GO longer with the unique MultiVolt battery that works on both 18V and 36V tools to double runtime for up to 8.0Ah of runtime per charge**. Now woodworkers have the flexibility to add to their cordless tool arsenal – sharing the MultiVolt battery across the 36V and 18V cordless tool platform for ultimate versatility thanks to the MultiVolt System advantage. 18V MultiVolt Brushless Trim Router – Model M1808DAQ4 – MSRP $149.
